The Spread Eagle Inn is an 18th century pub with five en-suite bedrooms.
Large Georgian windows, some low ceilings and uneven floors give the room’s quirky character with items of the Trust's antique collection, period furniture, and hand-made soft furnishings and painted with Farrow & Ball soft colours giving the rooms a comfortable country house feel
Your room will contain such facilities as a hairdryer, quality towels, toiletries, flat screen TV, coffee machine & tea making facilities. Our bathrooms contain a bath only, with no shower.
There is also access to free wireless internet. Our rooms can either be a single occupancy, double or twin bedded, and some of the rooms can accept extra 'z' beds for under 16’s, or travel cots for families with small children. You will be able to enjoy a cooked breakfast along with cereals, juice, yogurt and fruit.

There is free parking available in the smaller resident and disabled car park at the base of the hill, next left after the main National Trust car park.
Please note: Guests can only use the Stourhead gardens during their opening hours. Please check the National Trust website here for up to date opening times. Please collect a signed slip from us at the reception desk or show your key upon entering the garden to entitle you to free entry.
